Communication Coordination Meeting

In an effort to coordinate the administrative reform initiative in all government ministries and agencies, the Civil Service Commission communications department held the first ever coordination  meeting on 7 April 2010. The meeting was attended by H.E, Dr. Ahmad Mushahed, Chairman of the Commission,  Zabihullah Sawayz,  General Director of ARS of CSC, the communication staff of CSC, strategic communication advisors from the Afghanistan Civil Service Support program funded by  USAID, and more than 40 communication staffers from all ministries and independent organizations.

General Directorate of Program Design and Management

Formerly known as the Capacity Development Secretariat (CDS), the General Directorate of Program Design and Management (GDPDM) established on 9 December 2009 based on presidential decree number 4550. The directorate  is the lead department in Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) for institutional capacity development of civil service,  donor relations and technical assistance management, management of development programs/projects and enhancing capacity through appointment of national and international experts for the ministries and government agencies.
